SOUNDBITE (Swedish), Jytte GUTELAND (S&amp;D, SE), My expectations from this conference are both that all sectors should contribute both maritime transport and aviation but also that the member states of the COP commit to reduce their emissions more quickly. As it looks now, we would have not reach the Paris targets at all, we are headed towards 3.2 degrees, so it is really going in the wrong direction now. Actually we would need to quintuple our commitments. I know all of that wouldn't happen at this conference, but it will constitute important prepatatory work, so that's in Glasgow we can get rules into place decreasing the member states emissions.

SOUNDBITE (Swedish), Jytte GUTELAND (S&amp;D, SE), I will demand from the IMO (the international maritime organization) that they start to deal with their own emissions, and we want to see rules on the global Arena when it comes to maritime transport. We know that this maritime transport doesn't decrease it's easy, they would be responsible for close to 20% of global  emissions by 2050. So it's very important that they participate towards the decrease.
