During the EP plenary session (16- 19 April 2018) in Strasbourg, MEPs debate the abuse of Facebook data by Cambridge Analytica, in the light of European rules to protect personal data and online privacy, and discuss whether the European laws are an effective shield against personal data abuse and election manipulation.
