SOUNDBITE (German), David, At the moment, I am working in a public garden, a &ldquo;jardin solidaire&rdquo;, which is open to anybody. It especially targets unemployed people, refugees, asylum-seekers, who are not integrated in work life so that they have a chance to do something and gain experience and knowledge. Im Moment arbeite ich unter anderem in einem &ouml;ffentlichen Garten, einem &bdquo;jardin solidaire&ldquo;, der offen ist f&uuml;r jeden. Aber vor allem werden damit Arbeitslose, Fl&uuml;chtlinge, Asylbewerber angesprochen, die nicht im Berufsleben integriert sind, und da die Chance haben sich selber zu bet&auml;tigen und auch Erfahrung und Kenntnisse zu sammeln.

SOUNDBITE (German), David, I thought it would be interesting to live abroad, to be in a different country with a different language, and to get to know a different culture and improve language skills. Ich fand die Vorstellung interessant, im Ausland zu leben. In einem anderen Land, mit einer anderen Sprache, somit auch eine andere Kultur kennenzulernen und auch seine Sprachkenntnisse zu verbessern.
