aDuring the EP plenary session (15-18 January 2018) in Strasbourg, Klaus BUCHNER (Greens/EFA, DE), rapporteur and Bernd LANGE (S&D, DE), INTA Chair, address the press on an extension of EU export controls on cyber-surveillance tools, such as devices to intercept mobile phones, hack into computers, circumvent passwords or identify internet users, possibly used for human rights violations, in order to prevent authoritarian regimes from spying on their own citizens.
