SOUNDBITE (German), Martin SCHULZ, EP President, The European Parliament likes to condemn this event in the strongest terms and we would encourage the government of Honduras to do everything in its powers to catch the culprit or culprit's behinds this deed. We continue to support the activities of Human rights activists around the world and let's hope that this tragic event will not discourage other Human rights activist, but rather strengthen them in their struggles in Honduras. So many people have lost their lives for the subjective; I think that all of those who knew Ms Caseres will remember her.

SOUNDBITE (German), Martin SCHULZ, EP President, Today on the 8th of March the EP as every year is celebrating international Women's day, but this year a lot of things are different. We find ourselves in the middle of the largest refugee and migration crisis since the end of the Second World War therefore it is natural, logical and self-evident that this particular 8th of March should be specially dedicated to those women who are the most affected by this crisis. In February the number of women and children coming to Europe overtook the number of men arriving, we all know that women are particularly vulnerable when they are escaping from their country. They are exposed to many, many dangers, we see that every single day and we hear shocking reports every single day about discrimination, humiliation of dignity and rights and the denial of the basic Human rights.
