Globalisation Fund: more help after redundancy

The European Parliament wants to see the EU’s solidarity programme widened to help workers made redundant because of advances in technology or for ecological reasons as well as those laid off for economic reasons. The new support would ensure people have access to training and help in starting their own businesses.
