It's a global first, because we are we are the first continent to create this mechanism that will make sure that as our industries pay a high carbon price, today it's around &euro;80, with the reform we are going to put in place that will be somewhere around &euro;100 per tonne of CO2, which is way, way, way higher than anywhere else in the world. We need to make sure that when our industry pay this, they are not put out of the market because a competitor coming from Turkey or coming from China paying zero, will win the competition.

And in the Environment Committee, we considered it, we considered that it is socially unacceptable to have a carbon price on households and buildings and cars because it is socially regressive. And then you lose, you take the risk of losing the social support for the green transition. So we cut by two the new carbon market. We keep the commission proposal for everything which is related to cooperate. So cooperate buildings, cooperate cars for lorries. But we make a derogation, an exemption, so we say nothing will apply for households, cars or passenger cars, normal cars. And for the heating and cooling of residential buildings.
