SOUNDBITE (English), Antonio TAJANI, EP President, On the climate change the situation is complicated and we need to do more. There is a good agreement between the European Parliament and the United Nations on this. We will support every initiative. There is a big event organized by the United Nations in the next months and we we agree on the position of the United Nations. And I want to thank to Mr Guterres for his engagement during the last meeting in Poland on climate change.

SOUNDBITE (English), Antonio TAJANI, EP President, As you know our position is two people two states and we need to protect Israel and at the same time we need to study a solution for the Palestinian people and to have a Palestinian state is not easy. We need to work hard, we want to work for peace for stability.

SOUNDBITE (English), Antonio TAJANI, EP President, As you know there is an agreement between the European Union and Ukraine and the European Parliament voted in favor of visa wave for Ukraine. There are good relations with this country. If they want to be Europeans they have also to respect their minorities. Also for example, I send the letter to Ukrainian authorities in defense of the European minorities and the European languages in Ukraine. But we need to defend the Ukrainian borders for this our position. We are very clear on this.

SOUNDBITE (Spanish), Antonio TAJANI, EP President, We recognized Mr. Guaido as interim president of Venezuela. The position of the Parliament is very clear: he is the interim president of Venezuela. We are asking for new elections to elect the new president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela. Putting Mr. Guaido in jail would be a very dangerous failure. It is the worth image. I am against military intervention because it would be dangerous, we are against military intervention. At the same time we are totally against the possibility of sending Mr. Guaido to jail because it would be another very serious message that Mr. Maduro sends the whole world would be a provocation would be a declaration of political war, all the others.
