Citizens’ panels is a new stage of the Conference on the future of Europe. 200 citizens have been selected randomly, but in a way that reflects the EU’s diversity. Panels discuss ideas from events across the EU and proposals submitted through the Conference platform and make recommendations to be discussed with EU institutions and other stakeholders. SOUNDBITE (Spanish), Citizen, The future that I would like to see in Europe of a future that goes more with young people. Let's bet on young people and see their future and not see us in ruin, like many who have cast.

SOUNDBITE (Italian), Citizen, If Europe is able to select goals and work really hard for these objectives, consistently and succeeds in achieving them, I, one day, will say that is what Europe has done for me. It's very good. It's something I can definitely count on.

SOUNDBITE (English), Citizen, Not everybody is gifted educationally. We need to train our young people for apprenticeships, we have a shortage, skill shortage of plumbers, electricians, bricklayers, things we need every day. So we can't forget to train these people,

SOUNDBITE (Italian), Citizen, A Europe closer to its citizens and where citizens feel part. It can really have an effect on everyone's lives, on our work and life choices and also ours perception of our freedoms and our place within this society. So I hope to find possible answers in this new Europe.

SOUNDBITE (French), Citizen, What I hope is that Europe will bring me more well-being on a daily basis, it means access to culture or sport, a financial base, not too much stress on a daily basis and that allows me and everyone to have a life that suits them. We also need strong ecological commitments so that we can have a world that holds the road for several more years.
