SOUNDBITE (Hungarian), Ildik&#243; G&#193;LL-PELCZ (EPP, HU), Rapporteur, Thanks to the decrease in the administrative burden and also thanks to harmonised import regime, lives (of those wanting to sell EU fertilizers across borders) will be made much easier. There is also a clause in this report which means that the work on the functioning of the internal market and harmonisation can be overseen in practice by the Commission and I hope that this will be a really essential element for the circular economy and will make it possible for new innovative products to be able to get into the market.

SOUNDBITE (English), Ildik&oacute; G&Aacute;LL-PELCZ (EPP, HU), Rapporteur, The main policy objective of my report is to incentivise large scale plant nutrition production in the EU, from domestic organic or secondary raw materials, in line with the circular economy model, by transforming waste into nutrients for crops. The proposal will provide a regulatory framework radically easing access to the internal market for every fertiliser.

SOUNDBITE (English), Ildik&oacute; G&Aacute;LL-PELCZ (EPP, HU), Rapporteur, EU actions could encourage free movement of such organic fertilisers on the internal market by establishing harmonised and ambitious quality, safety and environmental criteria. I am convinced that the regulatory framework will raise Member States&rsquo; attention to the economic and environmental potential of innovative fertilisers, put organic fertilisers on an equal footing with mineral-based fertilisers and incentivise innovation.
