SOUNDBITE (English), Antonio TAJANI, EP President, Mister President Radev, Dear Prime Minster ..... "United we stand strong" : it is the moto of Bulgaria which was also chosen by the first Presidency of the Council.. Also chosen by the first Presidency. We must keep Europe fit for the Future. Together, we must continue our reflection how to improve our Union, to make it more efficient, more democratic and closer to our citizens. Especially to the younger generation. We must liste carefully to their concerns and their expectations. Last November I had the privilege to participate to a discussion with students of the University of Sofia. I was impressed by the talents of the Young Bulgarian. They have great expectations of Europe and they count of us for concrete answers. Their main concersns was better employment opportunities. If we want to creat jobs for them, we must creat jobs and more investements, especilaly in the field of digital technology, creative industry and tourism.

SOUNDBITE (English), Antonio TAJANI, EP President, Another important point for the future of Europe is the relation between our Union and the Western Balkans. For this is very important, we are work, we pave the way for a better cooperation. European parliament is ready to assist the Presidency with all available means. You can count on us as a strong committed relaivable partner during your Presidency "United we stand strong !!!" On behalf the EP, I wish the Bulgarian Presidency every success for the coming six months. Good luck !
