SOUNDBITE (English), Sophia IN &apos;T VELD (Renew, NL), Head of the LIBE delegation, It's the first time we are doing this kind of visit in Slovenia, we have done it in other countries. We've been to Slovakia, to Malta, to Bulgaria recently and several times. And what we do is to try to meet with as many people as possible with as broad as possible a spectrum of actors in society.

SOUNDBITE (English), Sophia IN 'T VELD (Renew, NL), Head of the LIBE delegation, Obviously, we always try and meet with the with the government, members of government, the head of government, but also other public authorities like, the court of auditors, the prosecutors.. So it all depends also a little bit on the topic. We meet with NGO journalists. So it's a very broad spectrum. And then at the end we go back to Brussels and then we have a debate about what we are going to do with the conclusions.

We try and inform ourselves as well as we possibly can about the situation on the ground. Listening also to as many different actors representing all the different viewpoints and interests so that we really get the full picture.

We want to know more about how people see this. So we are not in the business of bringing governments down. It's the government of the Slovene people. It's not our government.
