Parliament, Council and Commission host a feedback event in Parliament's premises in Brussels. In exchanges with representatives of the institutions, citizens who participated in the European Citizens' Panels during the Conference have the chance to review and comment on what the institutions have done since the Conference's proposals were delivered in May.

Before, it all seemed elitist and inaccessible to me. Now I feel more concerned and I want to get more involved.

SOUNDBITE (French), Piacentini Elisabeth , panelist, The starting point is to find confidence and trust once again, we're seeing an increase in crises, environmental energy crisis, war in Ukraine. And so it's important to bring citizens together in supporting the European project and to anchor them in their fundamental values.The European Union and its institutions have to be up to the challenge and to provide a definitive response to the aspirations of its citizens.

If there are certain difficulties in the working process, these can be overcome. If some of the recommendations cannot be implemented, we have to know which ones and why

What needs to be done is the 100% all the proposals of the conference are so important that they need to be implemented in reality and in practice and let's be honest, that means that we need for that to reform the European Union

I believe that it is the first time then that an executive body anywhere in the world is embedding such an approach in its policy making process and this is our major development
